The programme

Who it is for, what you do, what you take away

Youth Studio is a creative, educational workshop. It builds skills and gives young people something real to show.

Who it is for

Grades 7–12, in two groups

Learners in grades 7–8 and grades 9–12 work in separate groups. Ages are specific to this programme; they are not an academy-wide rule.

What learners do

Make a real project

Plan, draft, make and present a project such as a short film, audio story, illustrated guide or first episode, and keep a record of facts checked and any AI used along the way.

What they take away

Work they can show

Their creative work and drafts, a project brief, a presentation, a fact and AI-use record, and a “How I learn best” note.

Format and membership

Eight weeks, twice a week

Sixteen 90-minute sessions add up to 24 contact hours. Learners move from an idea and brief, through drafts and making, to a final presentation.

Staffing, equipment and group sizes described for this programme are draft planning targets, not guaranteed services.

Project choices
Short film, audio story, illustrated guide or first episode.
Honest records
Learners note which facts they checked and where AI helped.
Membership
Membership may be bundled with the workshop. What is included is confirmed before booking opens.
Educational, not clinical
“How I learn best” is a reflection for the learner, not an assessment or a diagnosis.
